Future InoChem Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride Factory to Be Built

Khair Inorganic Chemical Industries Co. (InoChem) announces approval to build a Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride Factory as the first and largest of its kind. The planned industrial complex targets producing 300,000 tons of Soda Ash by 2023, considered a first of its kind in the Gulf Region and the largest in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region. Additionally, it intends to provide Calcium Chloride at the industrial complex, which will be considered the largest with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons by 2023. InoChem, a Saudi closed joint stock company, is highly supported in this endeavour of maximizing investments in non-oil national resources and diversifying income sources reducing dependence on oil products,” according to Abdul Aziz Yahya Al-Muiaiyyad, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ISAAC/InoChem. Initial plans to build in Yanbu Industrial City changed and the industrial complex has now been built in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City.
